Maliha Arshad is a Research Associate at Pakistan’s leading think-tank ‘Institute of Peace and Diplomatic Studies’. She is also a founder of Academic Union, whose aim is to identify and eradicate loopholes in national curriculum and private sector’s teaching methodology, in order to fill in the gaps of learners at primary and secondary school level. Currently, she is working as Research Associate at IRI-IIUI under HEC funded research project, titled as “Plan of Action for Establishing an Inclusive Society in Pakistan through Prevention of Incitement to Violence”. In IPD, she is working as content writer of newsletters and e-newsletter of BRI and CPEC bulletin, and SCO media updates. She is also handling research work on Pakistan Civil-Military Relationships for one of the up-coming projects of the institute. She is a member of International Youth Council and an activist at the forum of Voices of Kashmiri Women.
She has completed her studies in Master of International Relations from International Islamic University, Islamabad. She is a former member of Parliamentary Youth Committee and Kashmir Youth Forum. Her influence in Art and Craft depicts her passion for nation building as she was involved in many pictographic activities and competitions at national level.
During her professional career she regulates her analytical skills comply with peaceful structural development of the nationhood. Under her official commitments, she has successfully managed and coordinated academic and professional projects mainly IYDS, EYWLC, SCO Diploma Studies. To spread peace and harmony she is also involved in round-table talks and conferences to prepare press releases and report writings on different national and international issues. She is, not only involved in examining and scripting issues and policy-making processes but also exert her efforts practically to execute most policy implementation tools at country’s education sector for the betterment of the society. She has been awarded many certificates for her contribution in various Peace Promoting Missions.
