Shoaib Kahut is a PhD scholar at Shandong University, P.R. China. His research areas are development and regional economics. Shoaib is also spearheading the Belt & Road study group at Shandong university. He has got experience of both public and private sector. In public sector, Shoaib served with Planning commission in the capacity of Young development fellow. In private sector, he is the part of Global shapers-youth hub of World Economic Forum. He has remained the vibrant part of Youth Parliament of Pakistan, WWF Pakistan and presently providing research support to Network for human rights and justice- a non profit organisation. Shoaib holds Masters’ degree in Economics from Quaid-i-Azam university. He speaks English, Urdu, Punjabi and quickly learning Chinese as well.
