The Centre for BRI and China Studies is dedicated to analyzing and promoting cooperation under the framework of China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and China’s global engagement.


The Centre serves as a research and policy platform to study geopolitical, economic, security, and cultural cooperation between China and BRI partner countries.


Our mission is to develop research, practical engagement, and dialogue to strengthen regional integration, trade, connectivity, and sustainable development through the Belt and Road Initiative and China-centered cooperation.

Scope & Objectives

The Centre for BRI and China Studies serves as a hub for research, training, and diplomatic engagement, focusing on China and BRI partner countries.
Our key objectives include:
  • Researching China’s diplomatic and economic engagement under the Belt and Road Initiative.
  • Promoting regional connectivity, trade, and economic integration through BRI.
  • Analyzing China’s role in regional security, stability, and conflict resolution.
  • Strengthening cultural and educational exchanges between China and BRI partner countries.
  • Organizing policy dialogues, conferences, and capacity-building programs on China and BRI.
