Program and Strategic Coordination Officer

Location: Islamabad, Pakistan Salary range: PKR 70,000 – 80,000/mo

The Institute of Peace and Diplomatic Studies (IPDS), Islamabad, is inviting applications for the position of Program and Strategic Coordination Officer.

IPDS is an independent research and advocacy think tank working on diplomacy, international relations, peace, leadership, public policy, and global engagement. Established in 2014, IPDS has developed partnerships with universities, embassies, international organizations, and policy institutions across the world. As IPDS continues to expand its programs, partnerships, fellowships, and international engagement initiatives, we are looking for a highly organized and driven individual to strengthen the institutional and operational backbone of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate institutional programs, events, dialogues, and diplomatic engagements
  • Manage communication and follow-ups with embassies, universities, think tanks, and international partners
  • Support planning and execution of flagship initiatives including diplomacy programs, fellowships, conferences, and trainings
  • Maintain institutional records, databases, partnership documents, and program calendars
  • Draft professional emails, concept notes, reports, and coordination documents
  • Assist in research coordination and stakeholder engagement
  • Track opportunities including grants, collaborations, speaking engagements, and strategic partnerships
  • Support the leadership team in organizational planning and execution
  • Ensure smooth coordination between programs, communications, research, and partnerships

  • Willing to grow with a dynamic institution

Preferred Background

  • Degree in International Relations, Public Policy, Media, Management, Political Science, Development Studies, or a related field
  • Prior experience in coordination, research, programs, communications, events, or stakeholder management is an advantage
  • Fresh graduates with exceptional organizational and communication skills are also encouraged to apply
