This policy explains what personal information the Institute of Peace and Diplomatic Studies (IPDS), Islamabad, collects through ipd.org.pk, why we collect it, and how we look after it.
We collect only what you give us through our forms:
To protect our forms from abuse we briefly record the IP address of each submission. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Your information is available only to the IPDS staff who need it for the purpose you gave it for, such as the team assessing applications. It is stored on our website server and in IPDS's own Google Sheets, and email is sent through our mail provider. We do not share it with anyone outside IPDS without your permission, unless the law requires us to.
We keep applications and registrations for as long as they are useful for the purpose they were given for, and normally no longer than three years, unless you become an intern, fellow, member or partner, in which case we keep the record of that relationship. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe.
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Write to info@ipd.org.pk, or reply to any email we have sent you. We will respond within 30 days.
The website uses the cookies needed for it to work and to keep it secure. We do not use advertising cookies.
If we change this policy we will update this page and the date at the top.
