The International Young Diplomat School (IYDS) is an immersive program for International Relations students and mid-career professionals seeking a practical understanding of diplomacy and global affairs.

This program provides an opportunity to learn directly from ambassadors, diplomats, policy makers, and key decision-makers in international relations.

Through expert-led discussions, workshops, and real-world experiences, participants gain valuable insights into diplomatic methods and foreign policy formulation.

Sessions are hosted by diplomats and ambassadors based in Islamabad, including from embassies, IGO offices, high commissions, and representative offices.

The International Young Diplomat School is an intensive 3-day program. The program dates and schedule are announced on IPDS Socials and website.

You can apply by clicking the "Apply Now" button on this page and filling out the online application form. Click here to apply.

The participation fee for IYDS is non-negotiable once confirmed. The fee covers coordination costs, logistics, administrative expenses, program materials, and session arrangements with diplomatic missions and international organizations.

Your seat is confirmed only after full payment of the program fee. Once confirmed, the seat is reserved exclusively for you and cannot be transferred without prior approval from IPDS.

No refunds will be issued once the program schedule is finalized and shared with participants. This includes withdrawal due to personal, professional, academic, medical, or travel-related reasons. In exceptional cases, refund requests may be considered solely at the discretion of IPDS management with supporting documentation.

Failure to attend the program, arriving late, or missing sessions does not qualify for a refund. Partial attendance does not entitle participants to partial refunds. Please ensure you can commit to the full program schedule before registering.

Substitution of a participant is not permitted once the final participant list has been shared with embassies and partner organizations. Any substitution request prior to that stage requires written approval from IPDS.

In the unlikely event that IPDS cancels the program due to unforeseen circumstances, participants will be informed promptly. IPDS may offer either a full refund or an option to transfer the fee to a future IYDS cohort.
