IPDS organized a roundtable on Kazakhstan’s Role and Responsibilities in the United Nations Security Council, examining the country’s two-year non-permanent UNSC term and its priorities on regional security, non-proliferation, and Central Asian cooperation. Scholars and diplomats discussed what Kazakhstan’s seat meant for Central Asia’s standing in multilateral diplomacy and for Pakistan-Kazakhstan engagement on shared security concerns.
