Honoured to deliver the keynote address at the 8th International Young Researchers’ Symposium on Global Health, hosted by AKKON University and its Institute for Research in International Assistance in Berlin as a satellite symposium of the World Health Summit 2026.
My address focused on health diplomacy between Pakistan and Europe and the need to connect public health with foreign policy, research cooperation, crisis preparedness, and equitable access to knowledge and healthcare.
Health challenges cross borders. Our responses must do the same. Pakistan and Europe can build stronger partnerships through joint research, professional exchanges, institutional cooperation, and sustained dialogue between policymakers, universities, and health professionals.
My sincere appreciation to Professor Timo Ulrichs, AKKON University, IRIA, and the organising team for providing young researchers and international experts with this valuable platform for scientific exchange and global cooperation.
