At the African Union’s 5th Continental Dialogue on Youth, Peace and Security in Bujumbura, officials reported uneven progress on national action plans and called for predictable funding and a consistent seat for youth-led peacebuilding groups in decisions on conflict prevention and mediation across Eastern Africa.
